CoAspire is searching for a Program Manager and Engineers for full time employment with experience in the past ten years specifically on the USAF Wind Corrected Munition Dispenser (WCMD) Program and Weapon System Evaluation Program (WSEP) either in the U.S. Air Force or Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control or other organizations. CoAspire has been shaping an opportunity to provide Engineering Services to the US Air Force and if selected for award will offer full time employment to up to four Engineers and a PM with this specialized past experience.
CoAspire will be supporting, if awarded, an Engineering Services contract for Wind Corrected Munition Dispenser (WCMD). CoAspire is searching for candidates to provide WCMD engineering support who have at least three years of experience within the past ten years to fulfill USAF support utilizing the WCMD guided tail kit. WCMD support requirements are as follows, and the blended team needs to be able to fulfill these roles after a two month training period alongside WCMD experts:
a. WCMD Telemetry installation, Telemetry functionality checks using Lumistar equipment, and telemetry mission control center WCMD support for WSEP and surveillance testing.
b. WSEP and surveillance testing telemetry analysis and reporting including HWIL diagnostics as required and Lumistar upgrade and functionality support..
c. WCMD aircraft mission planning WCMD MAP Fly Out Model (FOM) support.
d. WCMD Interface Control Document (ICD) support for aircraft integration including new aircraft that may require WCMD integration.
e. Aircraft System Integration Lab (SIL) interface support with WCMD SSS.
f. WCMD SSS and WCMD simulator support, repair, manufacture, and status of functionality.
g. WCMD Common Munitions Bit/Reprogramming Equipment (CMBRE) for existing and new CMBRE SLEP system.
h. Aircraft software upgrade support requiring WCMD integration, validation, anomaly analysis and support.
i. Field WCMD failure analysis including pre-flight and post-flight failure determinations. Extensive use of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components. Technical data support for all WCMD components and interface systems. Technical order update support for WCMD load and aircraft load manuals.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related Engineering discipline.
· Must be US citizens and either have or have the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET-level security clearance.
· Demonstrated experience with Test Equipment and Test Methodologies
· Strong collaboration abilities
· Ability to travel as needed four times a year for test events
Desired Skills from the Engineering Team:
· Experience with WCMD Munitions and CMBRE Test equipment in a USAF WSEP environment
· Experience interpreting Test Requirements
· Experience troubleshooting test equipment in a production environment
· Software configuration management
· Full software life-cycle development
· Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams
· Software integration and debugging techniques
· Basic Cybersecurity Skills
START DATE: Approximately August 1, 2020 (depending on US Air Force Contract Award)
